For six years, the founders of Terra Sancta Pilgrimages have led Detroit-area faithful on spiritual tours to the Holy Land. In recent months, they’ve been praying, working, and fundraising to relocate and restore the St. Joseph Chapel and Shrine of the Immaculate Heart of Mary about 10 miles away in Pontiac.

Simple Gospel message leads area Catholics to a personal relationship with Jesus

Several parishes in metro Detroit have adopted the Alpha for Catholics program, which is helping participants find a personal relationship with Christ through the greatest truth of our faith: Jesus is the promised Messiah of God who was crucified for our sins, rose in glory from the dead, appeared to his disciples, ascended into heaven, and now calls all to himself through the ministry of the Catholic Church.
